Aphrodite Hills Receives PGA Certification
The Aphrodite Hills Resort's 18-hole championship golf course has been awarded PGA National Cyprus status, the sport's highest honor. This course is Cyprus's first and only PGA-certified golf course.
The course's greens and bunkers were rebuilt in 2017 as part of a 2.5m investment update and total modernization of the golf course, designed and built to a world-class level. This upgrade makes the multi-award-winning Aphrodite Hills Golf the Mediterranean's "must-play" course.
Recently, the Aphrodite Hills golf course received golf's most incredible honor, the PGA National Cyprus certification. Thanks to the PGA's endorsement, Aphrodite Hills anticipates more recognition and patronage domestically and abroad.

Aphrodite Hills Golf Course, opened in 2002, was the island of Cyprus's first leisure and golf complex. It is the ideal place for golfers of every skill level to enjoy the sport in a setting that has a world-class championship course, a state-of-the-art Clubhouse, and stunning natural beauty.
This golf course is in a one-of-a-kind location, stretching out across 6,289 meters and offering spectacular views of the spot where Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, is fabled to have sprung from the sea.
Cabell Robinson, a renowned architect, was responsible for designing the award-winning golf course. Robinson has expertly crafted Aphrodite Hills to include a variety of exciting obstacles, including strategically placed bunkers, well-mowed fairways of Bermuda grass, and spacious greens with many tiers.
Aphrodite Hills Golf also has an extensive practice facility with two large putting greens and a short game area for golfers to get their swings in before hitting the course.
The visually stunning course is spread out among native olive and carob trees. It is situated on two plateaux separated by a steep ravine with amazing views of the Mediterranean.
All golf enthusiasts should take advantage of the opportunity to test their mettle against the breathtaking 130-meter chasm that separates the tees at the 7th hole.
